What is Reiki?

REIKI (pronounced RAY KEY) two Japanese Kanji ,when translated into western dialect, mean Universal Life Force Energy or Spiritual (not religious) Energy.
The System of Reiki is a Complementary, safe, vibrational / energy healing practice/therapy, that promotes balance in mind, body, and spirit. It is a painless, non- manipulative, non-invasive and does not interfere with any form of medical treatment.

  • Instruction for self-treatment and the treatment of others; Opportunity for practice in self-treatment, and in giving and receiving Reiki treatment with others.
Extra information not typically included in a tradition Reiki courses will also be included. I want to include these following subjects as I find this information extremely beneficial to my practice;
  •  The Chakra System
  • Crystal Healing
  •  Spirit Guides
  • Meditation and relaxation techniques

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Please bring a diary, note book or journal with you. Something that you love and will keep forever. I will explain on the day what it is for.
  • Please wear white. The colour white helps release any blocked energy and allows the Reiki energy to be absorbed. White represents purity, humbleness and an attitude of surrender.

How can I best prepare myself for the course?

  • It is recommended to eat as light as possible two weeks leading up to the course.
  • Eating as much vegetables and fruit as you can, and decreasing amount of animal products a week before the course cleanses the body from dense energy in the auric field. If this is something you don’t feel comfortable with, it is not a requirement just a suggestion.
  •  I really feel the more you prepare yourself for this weekend, the lighter you will feel, the more you will take from it and the richer the experience.
